Hey Mama, I’m Kate!
As a Mum of 3 boys (now 5yr, 3yr, & 2yr). i think it’s safe to say that I have experienced my fair share of tired times.
My husband and our beautiful boys live nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.
Motherhood cracked me wide open. It’s been the most humbling, stretching, and sacred journey of my life. Like many, I’ve walked through the fog of sleep deprivation, felt the weight of conflicting advice, and longed for reassurance that I was doing enough — that I was enough.
That longing led me to create Nested in Nurture back in 2021 — a space born from a desire to support tired, heart-led mothers with honesty, compassion, and intuition. In 2023, I wrote Sleep Steps, a gentle, no-pressure guide to infant sleep. It’s now freely available to all who need it — a resource I wish I’d had when I was a first-time mum.
When I’m not busy being a Mama, I find joy in my garden, growing fresh food and turning it into meals (even if my toddlers don’t always eat them — can’t win them all, right?).
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education, and am so excited to ignite a love for learning in each of my boys as we begin our home schooling journey next year.
In my heart, I am so deeply passionate about continuing to support Mamas - even as my own journey of motherhood unfolds in beautiful & unexpected ways.
Do you have a toddler?
I’m so excited to share The Next Steps with you soon — a gentle continuation of Sleep Steps. This next resource will be filled with thoughtful guidance, practical tools, and heartfelt wisdom to support you as you navigate this new chapter of motherhood.
